OneID® & Good Things Foundation – fixing the digital divide for good

We’re excited to announce we will be supporting Good Things Foundation as our employee-nominated charity.

Good Things Foundation is the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity with a mission to fix the digital divide - for good. Millions of UK citizens lack basic digital skills and are struggling to access the benefits of the internet. Good Things Foundation is transforming lives by empowering people to fully engage in the digital world, regardless of their circumstances.

They’re making a real impact and have a growing National Digital Inclusion Network. The network consists of 5,000 organisations supporting their local communities, each forming part of a movement that’s fixing the digital divide across the UK.

Here's how these organisations (also referred to as hubs) are helping local communities:

  • Learn My Way is a free online platform that helps people gain basic digital skills and build confidence when using the internet. It has empowered over 100,000 individuals to engage confidently in the digital world.
  • National Device Bank promotes the circular economy by providing free refurbished devices for those who can’t access their own. Almost 10,000 individuals have received a device, saving nearly 100,000kg of electronic waste.
  • National Data Bank has offered 125,000 free data packs to help communities get connected.

At OneID®, we're proud to support Good Things Foundation's efforts to fix the digital divide. We believe the UK could drive digital inclusion with services like OneID®, simplifying everyday life, making processes safer, and allowing citizens to share their data securely.

Our employee volunteers have built new relationships with members of the National Digital Inclusion Network locally. As our employee nominated charity, we are proud to be Campaign Champions for Good Thing Foundation’s annual digital inclusion campaign, Get Online Week, to raise awareness and funds this year.

We are committed to making a positive impact on society. By working with Good Things Foundation, we’re improving digital accessibility for society’s most vulnerable and ensuring no one is left behind in an increasingly digital world. Together, we’re creating an inclusive, connected future and working towards fixing the digital divide—for good!

All statistics are taken from the Good Things Foundation Annual Impact Report 2024.
