What you need to use OneID®
There are multiple ways to use OneID® to verify your identity or age online, with the fastest and most common method being through a UK bank.
Verify using a UK bank:
To use this service, you’ll need access to online banking, either through your bank’s website or mobile app. No documents or selfies are required.
It's important to use a personal bank account for verification, rather than a business or joint account, as OneID® confirms your individual identity.
Rest assured, no financial information is accessed, and OneID® does not have access to your bank account details.

Verify using a document:
If you choose to verify with a document, you’ll need a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driving licence. You’ll also need a mobile phone to scan your document and take a live selfie.
