OneID®, the UK’s leading digital identity provider, is proud to announce it is among the first organisations to be certified under the newly authorised DIATF v04 (Gamma) framework—marking another major milestone for digital trust in the UK. This certification recognises OneID® not only as an Identity Service Provider (IDSP) and Orchestration Service Provider (OSP), but also as one of the very first certified Holder Service Providers (HSP)—officially paving the way for the OneID Identity Wallet.
This announcement follows the Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (DIATF) becoming formally recognised under UK law as part of the Data Act and overseen by the Office for Digital Identities and Attributes (OfDIA). The newly authorised version of the framework empowers UKAS-accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) to certify Digital Verification Services under the strengthened standards effective from 1 July 2025.
“This is a significant step not only for OneID®, but for the UK’s digital economy. By becoming one of the first certified providers under DIATF v0.4, we’re helping to set the bar for what secure, user-friendly, and privacy-preserving digital identity should look like.”
Adrian Field, Director of Market Development at OneID®
OneID® was previously the first Orchestration Service Provider certified under the alpha version of the framework and has now cemented its position at the forefront of UK digital identity by successfully upgrading to the latest Gamma version and becoming the first certified Holder Service Provider.
